A single, simple firewall is not enough. Redundancy helps ensure protection at all times. Locking down all ports that are not absolutely essential improves port-based security. Our firewalls are role-based and each Secure Server has only port 80 (standard web port) and 443 (SSL web port) open. If you must have special ports opened, you may request the change using the MyFireHost Portal.
Managed Redundant Firewall Protection is included for all customers.
